01DefinitionScience Based Targets initiative (SBTi) / GLEC Framework

The formal multi-year emissions intensity reduction target (gCO2e/tkm) monitored across active carriers and shippers.

01 / CANONICAL DEFINITION

What it means.

The Decarbonization Target represents the consortium-wide greenhouse gas intensity reduction commitment compared to the baseline year. Measured in Well-to-Wheel grams of CO2 equivalent per tonne-kilometer (gCO2e/tkm), it tracks progress toward net-zero freight transport across Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 transport-chain operations.

02 / ROLE IN TRUSTEDTRUCKS

Where it is used.

Monitors real-time telematics emissions data against annual statutory reduction curves, awarding green corridor badges and carbon inset credits to compliant carriers.

03 / TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION

Target Progress (%) = ((Baseline Intensity - Current Intensity) / (Baseline Intensity - Target Intensity)) * 100.

04 / WHAT IT MUST NOT IMPLY

Read it carefully.

Target percentage reflects operational intensity progress; it does not replace third-party audited sustainability assurance reports.
