The ZZ Carbon Engine is the environmental accounting layer of the TrustedTrucks ecosystem. It implements the Measurement, Reporting, and Verification (MRV) standard.

At Stage 31A of the logistics lifecycle, the shipment's data is compiled into a cryptographically anchored Carbon Book of Record. This schema details:
- Avoided empty-runs (backhauls)
- Fuel type and vehicle weight
- Total CO2 emissions saved
Carbon Asset Segregation
The platform strictly segregates four classes of carbon assets:
- Avoided Emissions Certificates (avoided transport empty-runs)
- Direct Reductions (biofuel transitions)
- Carbon Offsets (third-party verifications)
- Corporate Carbon Credits
