01DefinitionTrustedTrucks Data Architecture Council

Multi-dimensional data aggregation tier powering sub-second analytical reporting and dashboards.

01 / CANONICAL DEFINITION

What it means.

Online Analytical Processing (OLAP) is the high-performance multi-dimensional data warehousing and materialized aggregation architecture used in Tier 3 of TrustedTrucks. It compiles raw transactional rows (OLTP) into pre-aggregated cubes, enabling instantaneous analytical queries, KPI calculations, and historical trend evaluations without placing read locks on operational relational databases.

02 / ROLE IN TRUSTEDTRUCKS

Where it is used.

Drives the PT-0 Command Centre executive dashboards, carbon reconciliation summaries, and semantic telemetry reporting with sub-30ms fast-path responses.

03 / TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION

Materialized views and columnar summary tables refreshed asynchronously via dbt and event streaming.

04 / WHAT IT MUST NOT IMPLY

Read it carefully.
