01DefinitionTrustedTrucks Architectural Governance Council
A formal normative specification describing system capabilities, business processes, data structures, and state transitions.
01 / CANONICAL DEFINITION
What it means.
A Functional Requirements Document (FRD) defines what a software system must accomplish from a business, operational, and architectural perspective. It codifies user roles, access control boundaries, API parameters, ledger transactions, and compliance guarantees prior to code execution, establishing a legally and technically binding development baseline.
02 / ROLE IN TRUSTEDTRUCKS
Where it is used.
Serves as the constitutional baseline for all 28 platform modules across PT-0 (Command Centre), PT-1 (Logistics Market), PT-2 (Field Operations), and PT-3 (Token Ecosystem). No component is released to production without a ratified FRD baseline.
03 / TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION
Codifies state machines, idempotency keys, quorum consensus events, database schemas, and mathematical accounting models across 1,000+ architectural clauses.
04 / WHAT IT MUST NOT IMPLY
Read it carefully.
An FRD is a technical and operational specification; it does not replace legal commercial contracts or corporate articles of incorporation.
